Created in 1850, San Joaquin is located in the heart of Central Valley in California, just east of the San Francisco Bay Area. The county seat is Stockton. Other notable locations include the Delicato Vineyards in Manteca - the fifth largest family run winery in the world, the new Big League Dreams Sports Park, the Chocoholics Chocolate factory in Clements and Caswell Memorial State Park. San Joaquin County is known as one of the riches agricultural regions in the country. It’s also home to 14 public school districts and numerous private schools, and a wonderful place to live in.
